Being pregnant for the first time in the world we live in can be extremely overwhelming. With this being my second pregnancy, and also experiencing miscarriage with my first, I was burnt out on trying to figure it out myself. The research was endless and I honestly just needed help and guidance. Beccah has been a complete life savor.
At 6 weeks pregnant, I discovered I had a very large hematoma surrounding my uterine wall. It was extremely scary, as I had never heard of this before. My doctor at the time had zero advice for me concerning what to do about the hematoma. Beccah walked me through different ways I could help the hematoma reabsorb and also shrink, turns out there are tons of ways to help it! Since she also experienced this during one of her pregnancies, it helped to know my worry was normal and I wasn’t alone. After taking her advice, and eating the correct food from the list she provided, my hematoma shrunk significantly. I truly believe it was because of the help I received through Nurture & Co.
Following the hematoma, I then began having a lot of headaches. I asked my OB for advice on what to do, and her answer was to only increase water intake. After talking with Beccah, she helped me to start incorporating electrolytes and a list of other healthy minerals into my daily water intake, and I can proudly say headaches are no more.
I highly recommend having someone to walk alongside you during a very raw, life changing, and emotional part of your life. Pregnancy is so beautiful, and it should never be something we feel overwhelmed about. I couldn’t thank Nurture & Co enough for how they have impacted my journey so far. This is only the beginning!
